April 2016 - Stertil-Koni will now deploy its powerful touch-screen control technology – ebright Smart Control System – on select models of the company’s battery wired mobile column lifts. These include the Stertil-Koni ST 1075, ST 1085, and ST 1100 models, with lifting capacities of 7.500 KG, 8,500 KG and 11,000 KG respectively.
First deployed on the Stertil-Koni wireless mobile column lifts in 2015, the ebright Smart Control System consists of a seven-inch, full-color touch screen console that provides intuitive, ease-of-use with maximum visual information about the lifting process – all at the fingertips of the person who needs it most, the busy technician on the shop floor.
Noted Peter Bowers, technical support manager at Stertil-Koni, “The ebright Smart Control System is in essence an extension of the concept of human-machine-interface (HMI). It has been engineered to provide greater control of the vehicle lift in a very familiar, electronic notepad-style delivery system.”
Now, Stertil-Koni is bringing this technology to its more economically priced wired mobile column lifts, which also showcase the best in heavy duty hydraulic lifting, but use interconnecting communication wires rather than wireless connectivity.
