Stertil-Koni USA Appoints Lewis Nelson as President

Stertil-Koni USA is pleased to welcome Lewis Nelson as President of Stertil-Koni USA as of 15 June 2026.

Nelson succeeds Scott Steinhardt, who served as President of Stertil-Koni USA for the past three years and will be leaving to build a new family business outside the heavy duty vehicle lifting industry.

Nelson joins Stertil-Koni from Enerpac Tool Group, an industry leader in high-force hydraulics and lifting solutions based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He most recently served as Global Senior Director of Commercial Excellence, where he was responsible for all commercial practices, including sales strategy, CRM, forecasting, sales performance, sales operations, technical services, and the Enerpac Academy.

Before Enerpac, Lewis held roles of increasing responsibility at Fluke Corporation, a Fortive company. His positions included Product Manager, Sales Engineer, District Sales Manager, Sales Strategy Manager, and Director of Commercial Strategy, Sales Enablement, and Marketing.

Nelson is a U.S. Army combat veteran and former federal intelligence officer. He completed two combat tours in Iraq and three in Afghanistan. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Augsburg University, where he played NCAA Division III football and competed in javelin for the track and field team. He also earned an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
