Stertil-Koni Sales Support Manager Oelke Douma Retiring After More Than 30 Years, Harrie Poortman, his Successor

Stertil-Koni's Sales Support Manager Oelke Douma will retire on 15th July 2026 after more than 30 years of dedicated service, marked by technical expertise, customer support across many continents, and service excellence. Oelke's successor is Harrie Poortman. Harrie started in March and has been working closely with Oelke to ensure a smooth handover.

Dirk-Siemen Wendelaar Bonga, Global Sales Manager Stertil-Koni, remarked: "In Oelke's more than three decades career, he has made an outstanding contribution to Stertil-Koni through his technical knowledge, hands-on support, and dedication to helping our sales organisations, distributors and their customers around the globe. Throug-out his career, he travelled extensively to support many vehicle lift installations, played a key role in after-sales support, and shared his knowledge through technical training for technicians. His reliability, practical knowledge, and commitment have made a lasting contribution to Stertil-Koni. In addition, Oelke has always been a highly valued colleague, appreciated not only for his expertise and dedication, but also for his warm personality and unrivalled sense of humour. We thank him sincerely for all he has achieved, and wish him every success and happiness in this new chapter."

In his previous role he was Product Manager, Machine Engineering at a company specialising in complex welded steel structures for the manufacturing industry. With Harrie's expertise and commitment, we are confident he will make a valuable contribution in his new role."
